"In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes."
Judges 21:25

Funny how easily we could exchange the nation of Israel with most any Western Nation in the world right now and find much the same to be true. We have forsaken the Truth provided to us in God's Word, along with it's moral absolutes, and exchanged them instead for the idea that truth is subjective, that we are nothing more than evolving animals, and that there is no real moral compass or standard, save the philosophy of survival of the fittest. The results have been catastrophic: increased violence, the decline of the family, people are more connected than ever before, yet lonelier, drug use and sexual immorality increases with each passing day, and we scratch our heads and ask why while we continue to push God, His Word, and Jesus Christ further and further away from mainstream society. I posted a link in my profile of a speech given by Ken Ham that addresses these issues in light of the current state of our nation, our world, and of the Church. I really can't recommend taking some time to watch this for yourself, and then considering what Mr. Ham has to say carefully, assessing ourselves as individuals, as a country, and as a Church. God is unchanging, and I'll only point out that when Israel chose to forsake God and His Word my goodness did God execute His judgement upon that nation. It would seem if one had eyes to see and ears to hear they might take a moment of pause to reflect on how this relates to us today, maybe even consider ways of turning this ship back, repenting of our foolishness. Goodnight friends, God Bless, and may this day find us with just such eyes and ears, not those corrupt and blinded by the wickedness of this world :peace::peace::peace:
